NEW YORK — Radio-ratings agency Arbitron Inc. said Wednesday it filed a patent infringement lawsuit in a U.S. district court in Texas against Houston-based International Demographics Inc., market research firm Ipsos Group SA and its related entities claiming that the companies infringed on three patents related to electronic audience measurement technology.
Arbitron is seeking a permanent injunction against the companies and compensatory damages.
